We're excited to announce a position available for a Registered Physio (Pelvic Floor)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our collaborative healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall physical function. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to the needs of each patient across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physiotherapy treatments utilizing various techniques such as trigger point therapy and therapeutic exercises.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care in acute care settings.
Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using EMR systems.
Skills
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Experience in discharge planning and developing effective care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and orthopedic patients.
Familiarity with JANE systems for efficient documentation and communication within the healthcare team.
Ability to perform assessments and treatments related to acute care needs as well as chronic conditions.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
