About the Role:
As a Pellet Mill Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the manufacturing of top-quality pelleted products. Your attention to detail, mechanical skills, and commitment to high standards will help us deliver the best equine nutrition products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the pellet mill and related equipment to produce consistent, high-quality feed and supplements.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and quality control standards to ensure the efficiency and safety of the production process.
- Assist with material handling, including loading raw materials and packaging finished products.
- Document and record production data, ensuring accurate inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience operating pellet mills or similar machinery in a production environment (training will be provided).
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
