The Vancouver Island Health Authority has a locum opportunity for a Pediatrician to cover maternity leave (between 8-12 months, dates are flexible) in Nanaimo, BC! The general pediatrics office practice is 2 days a week. The call requirement is 4-5 shifts per month, and one week of service every other month.
The hospital work includes attending neonatal deliveries, doing consultations in ER and our ambulatory clinic, and rounding on pediatric and level 2 NICU inpatients (>31 weeks GA) during service weeks.
