Position


Part-time Pediatric Registered Nurse in Scarborough, ON every Saturday & Sunday 20:00-08:00.


Please note: If you cannot commit to the weekly schedule, we will not be able to accept your application.


General Duties (specific duties may vary based on individual client needs)

Nasopharyngeal suctioning Enteral feeds Administer and document medications as prescribed, following CNO medication administration standards Monitor and maintain the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics Maintain child's records and required documentation in accordance with CNO standards Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living Observe and report on changes in child's condition to guardian and WeeCare Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids Demonstrate understanding of child's needs and maximize abilities Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian Respond to child/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child's equipment and belongings Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child's safety, incidents, and accidents Complete all other tasks as assigned


Requirements

Licensed and in good standing with the CNO Nasopharyngeal suctioning experience Experience working with pediatrics Current BLS certification Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 6 months Professional Liability Insurance

Every Saturday & Sunday 20:00-08:00 Night shift 12 hour shift
