Job Title PE Building Assistant, Recreation Services

About the Position
Recreation Services is seeking individuals to assist the Coordinator of Athletics and Recreation Services in the day-to-day operations of the Physical Education Building, including the Equipment Room and assisting with Athletics. This is a front-line position that provides service to all users, as well as the other staff that work in the Physical Education Building.
Position Details
- Proper handling and control of all monies received through the equipment room
- Sales of merchandise
- Checking patrons in and out
- Selling and renewing memberships
- Monitoring usage of racquetball and squash courts
- Providing information
- Assisting user groups with proper set-up of equipment
- Providing laundry services
- Cleaning
In this role, assistants are able to provide varied service within a customer-focused team environment for all our valued internal / external customers. This position will also support athletics and sporting events held in the PE Building
Evening and weekend shifts will be required for this position.
Required Qualifications
Current CPR and First Aid certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications
Related work experience with customer service and computer experience is an asset.
Salary AUPE Class Level 2 Step 1 $17.08hr
