Factory Outlet Trailers & Truck Upfitting is seeking a dedicated

PDI Tech / Yard Associate

to join our team. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring the proper assembly, inspection, and organization of trailers and equipment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an outdoor and shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble trailers and ensure they meet quality standards Load and unload trailers and trucks safely and efficiently Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on trailers before customer pickup or delivery Assist customers with trailer hook-ups and provide basic operational guidance Maintain a well-organized and clean yard, ensuring proper storage and staging of inventory Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as needed Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the yard and shop area Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

Experience in trailer assembly, mechanical work, or a similar role is preferred but not required Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift and equipment operation experience is a plus (training provided if needed) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent customer service and communication skills
