to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of assembling and soldering SMT Electronics Components, including fine-pitch SMT components, and through-hole devices. This role requires strong soldering and rework skills, knowledge of IPC standards, and the ability to interpret technical documentation such as BOMs, reference designators, and PCB silkscreens.
Key Responsibilities:
Hand soldering PCBs with surface mount (SMT) components including 0201, 0402, 0603 SMT packages, QFN and BGA IC packages, and through-hole devices.
Perform rework, parts replacement, and repairs on populated boards, including fine-pitch SMT under microscope.
Assemble, crimp, and test wire harnesses, including preparation and termination of wires and cables.
Perform component kitting, ensuring accurate collection, labeling, and organization of parts prior to assembly.
Follow IPC-A-610 Class 2 or 3 soldering and workmanship standards.
Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturer/vendor part numbers, reference designators, and silkscreen drawings.
Maintain and properly use advanced SMT soldering/rework stations, hot air rework, and inspection microscopes.
Accurately document assembly, rework, and test results in production records.
Suggest improvements to methods and processes to increase efficiency and quality.
Required Skills/Duties:
Strong soldering skills with fine-pitch SMT, QFN, and BGA packages
Proficiency in PCB assembly and rework
Proficient in using hot air and soldering stations
Wire harness assembly and crimping experience
Familiarity with component kitting and parts organization
Solid understanding of electronic components and circuits
Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain clean, safe work environment
Problem solving abilities
Proactive and action oriented
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PCB soldering and PCBA rework
Experience in electronics production, testing, and debugging is a strong asset
Experience in electronics operational & production environment required
Experience in mechanical prototyping & assembly is a plus
Good English communication skills
