Global Mission of the position




Under the supervision of Human Resources, the successful candidate will manage and process payroll accurately and on time.

BIG RESPONSABILITIES



Process payroll on a regular bi-weekly schedule Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll laws and regulations Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions and taxes Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end documents Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance on benefits, garnishments, and deductions Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information Support the HR and Finance departments with various administrative and operational tasks Committed to top performance in a safe work environment Ability to work in a fast paced environment Able to organize and prioritize Strong understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS



High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent Experience: 2-5 years of payroll experience Good safety and attendance record Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business Accountable and Dependable Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered
