The

Payroll/Admin Clerk

is responsible for performing all payroll functions and assisting with other administrative duties. It is critical that the integrity of the payroll and financial records be maintained with efficiency and accuracy and that our employees and clients are addressed in a professional, friendly manner. If you are a self-starter, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:



Payroll



Monitor time and attendance Obtain overtime approvals Calculate commissions Process garnishment requests Process and close bi-weekly payroll Calculate and process payment of all government remittances Administration of company group insurance policy Answer all payroll questions from employees Prepare reports for management Journal Entries Performing other duties that may be reasonably requested

As well as other Administrative Duties and Functions



What we are looking for:



Must possess a Grade 12 Secondary Diploma and a combination of 2 years practical business experience with specialized courses in Business Administration

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deal effectively with customers, co-workers, and management at all levels in the company, both in person and on the phone.

Good reading, writing and computational skills are necessary in the performance of duties.

Must have a good working knowledge of computer application software including ERP systems, accounting software and operational skills involving calculators and other specialized equipment used in the department.

Have a strong work ethic and be able to cohesively operate in a team environment

Knowledge of SAGE 300 would be an asset

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 based on experience
