• Process monthly benefit payments and lump-sum payments to retirees;
• Make government remittances within the prescribed deadlines;
• Plan, organize, and handle the year-end process (issuing tax slips, summaries, etc.);
• Implement and maintain necessary regression tests;
• Identify the sources of issues and propose concrete solutions;
• Understand the scope of deliverables and meet deadlines by managing and prioritizing activities;
• Work in partnership with various internal stakeholders;
• Perform any other related tasks and carry out specific assignments at the request of the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• Hold a certificate in administration, a college diploma in administration, accounting, or other relevant training;
• Have knowledge of laws, standards, and government regulations related to payroll;
• Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand and systematize technical concepts, be organized and structured;
• Be proficient in understanding and using current computer technologies and have excellent command of MS Office software (Word, Excel, etc.);
• Being bilingual in French and English and have very good communication skills, both oral and written;
• Being a member of the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) would be an asset;
• Having experience in pension plan administration would be an asset.
