Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting software systems. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities



Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently using accounting software. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with data entry tasks related to accounts payable and payroll functions. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth financial operations and address any billing inquiries or issues. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes. Conduct analysis of accounts receivable data to identify trends and areas for improvement in collection processes. Support bookkeeping activities as needed, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Qualifications



Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related financial roles. Proficiency in payroll software (Payworks). Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively. Knowledge of human resources functions is desireable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients professionally. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.79-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
