THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee the execution of 10 separate payroll cycles across multiple entities. This individual will also play a pivotal role in implementing a new global payroll system, helping to harmonize payroll processes and drive standardization across regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately process and reconcile payroll for 10 separate business units on varying schedules
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory reporting requirements, and internal controls
Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to streamline payroll workflows
Play a lead role in the global payroll system implementation--participating in planning, testing, migration, and go-live phases
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies and system-related issues
Maintain up-to-date documentation on payroll procedures, controls, and configurations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
