Job Description

Payroll Specialists have the opportunity to advance their career in Architecture and Design Firms. We are seeking candidates with 5+ years\' experience with Payroll processing in Canada and the US. These contract opportunities are working hybrid downtown Toronto 1-2+ days a week. The Payroll Specialist will use advanced MS Excel (PIVOT TABLES, VLOOKUPS) and ADP Workforce Now, experience with both is preferred. Professional English verbal and written is required for these positions to present weekly findings.

- Processing bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees in Canada and the US
- Experience with benefit administration, payroll tax calculation, reconciliations
- ADP experience preferred, Excel (Spreadsheets, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
- Maintain timesheet and vacation schedules, including ad-hoc projects
- Liaise with external auditors to prepare financial and other reports as required

The Payroll Specialist will have 5+ years\' of relevant experience ideally from a similar industry - engineering, architecture, design, construction. They will have strong MS Excel and ADP experience. The Payroll Specialist opportunity is a long-term contract, with a minimum of 3-6 months. This opportunity requires professional business writing skills.
