Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in London, Ontario, on a contract basis. In this role, you will manage payroll operations for a non-unionized workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. You will play a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting employee compensation processes.
Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for approximately 600 Canadian employees using ADP Workforce Now software.
• Generate detailed payroll reports and share them with the Finance team for review.
• Administer quarterly commission payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage pension remittances and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Act as a backup for hourly payroll processing to ensure continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• Support auditing processes by providing payroll documentation and reports.
• Assist with employee benefits functions as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software and other accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with administering commissions and pension remittances.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Finance and HR teams.
• Familiarity with auditing procedures and benefit functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
