Job Description


  • Processing semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientations, and training.
  • Process employee terminations, ensuring proper documentation and exit procedures.
  • Group Benefits, Pension and RRSP Plan administration and reporting.
  • Assist in calculating remuneration for commission-based employees.
  • Year-End reporting and other CRA reporting/forms.
  • Maintain working knowledge of current legislation for multiple jurisdictions (Federal/Alberta/Saskatchewan)
  • Preparation of payroll related journal and accounts payable entries.
  • WCB administration and annual reporting.
  • Ensuring company policies, procedures and processes established are current and posted.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance documents.
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and requests related to HR policies, benefits, and employment conditions.
  • Support performance appraisal processes, including setting goals, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Generate HR reports for management analysis, workforce planning, and compliance purposes.
