We are now looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join the team. You will be responsible to work closely with the Payroll and Benefits Administrator, P&O, and the Finance teams.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist with payroll processing for weekly and biweekly payrolls, timesheets, government remittances, monthly/quarterly and year-end process
  • Ensure payroll records and procedures are in place and adhered to
  • Respond to employee\'s payroll inquires
  • Maintain employee attendance records and leave balances
  • Work closely with the finance and HR teams to provide support for adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
We think you should have:
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, or a combination of education and related experience
  • 1-3 year experience in a payroll administration role
  • Working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of NL & AB Employment Standards, Pension, Benefits, WHSCC and HAPSET
  • Experience completing Salaried, Hourly and Union Payrolls for larger organizations
  • Working knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow is considered an asset
