Salary: $55,000-60,000 plus benefits and RSPOur multiple-entity client in the health services industry is growing and offering a great opportunity as a Payroll Clerk within a corporate environment. Working within team and being collaborative, your main duties would be around supporting both biweekly and semi monthly payrolls.Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Payroll Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, maintaining payroll records, and working with us to optimize payroll processes.Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for 100+ employees,.
• Reviewing timekeeping records for accuracy, promptly addressing, and resolving any identified discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate employee payroll records, including attendance, leaves, and overtime hours.
• Responding to payroll inquiries, promptly and professionally.
• Generating comprehensive payroll reports as needed.
• Assisting with year-end reconciliations, preparation of T4 forms and related summaries.

Qualifications:

• PCP and Bach Degree in Human Resources, Payroll, Administration
• Minimum 3 years experience in full cycle payroll
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel), Quickbooks, Wagepoint Payroll Software is an asset
• You will have exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
• You have good interpersonal skills, confidence, a willingness to learn, and professionalism.
• You have the ability to work independently but also work effectively in a team environment
