Our client is hiring a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to join their welcoming and people-focused team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you'll take ownership of full-cycle payroll and benefits administration and play a key part in supporting employees through onboarding and offboarding processes. Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:

  • Manage full-cycle payroll and benefits administration as the sole payroll lead, using UKG.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring accurate payroll and benefits setup and removal.
  • Maintain and optimize the UKG system, identifying opportunities for improved reporting and functionality.
  • Prepare and analyze reports using advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and basic Macros.
  • Generate regular payroll reports and support audits through accurate documentation and compliance tracking.
  • Collaborate with HR and report directly to the Director of HR, providing payroll expertise and process improvements.
Education:
  • Completion of the PCP designation, or active enrollment in the program, is required.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration or coordination is required.

Base Salary: $55,000 - 60,000 per year
  • Salary based on experience.
  • Full benefits package included.
Work Hours:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Remote Work:
  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
Additional Notes:
  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
