As the new General Accounting, Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you\xe2\x80\x99ll manage accurate and timely payroll processing, meet all deadlines, and ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time. In addition to your payroll responsibilities, on a day-to-day basis, you will also administer the employee benefits program and support a variety of accounting functions. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing: * Administer daily activities relating to payroll and benefits processing * Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees * Maintain and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly labour related reporting as required * Prepare and submit payroll and benefits deductions and remittances as necessary * Prepare T4\xe2\x80\x99s, ROE\xe2\x80\x99s and various payroll reports as requested * Administer employee benefits programs including enrollments and terminations * Address benefit enquiries and ensure accurate and timely resolutions. * Importing and reviewing hours daily from time and attendance systems and analyzing reporting issues * Back up for bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting, accounts payable and receivable vacations * Account reconciliations * General accounting assistance * General planning and coordination of employee events i.e. summer BBQ, Christmas lunch etc. The Details This is a full-time permanent position working out of their Brampton office. Their core office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
