Columbia Basin Trust is seeking a PayrollBenefits Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation. You will also provide confidential guidance and support to employees on payroll and benefits-related matters.

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $82,200.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the successful candidate will:
Administer the monthly payroll for the Board of Directors and Advisory Committee members' remuneration.
Provide backup payroll support for the semi-monthly payroll of staff and hourly employees.
Reconcile, balance and prepare journal entries for accounting.
Respond to payroll and benefit inquiries and requests for assistance.
Provide timely and accurate administration of employee leaves, including employee correspondence and support.
Provide general Human Resources support, including acting as the records management representative for the Human Resources department.
What We're Looking For:
National Payroll Institute Certification as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) or currently pursuing.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, Payroll Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in payroll and benefits administration.
Proficiency working within Microsoft Office applications.
Solid understanding of relevant legislation.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
