Randstad Staffing is currently looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist for a great company in the northwest of Winnipeg.

Do you have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing inter-provincial payroll and benefits? Do you enjoy working in a smaller work environment with a family feel? Are you able to work well independently, meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment? Do you have a sense of urgency, excellent time management skills and enjoy working with numbers? ...

Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing compensation, payroll and pension programs (inter-provincial knowledge is a must)
- Assisting the finance teams with various reports
- Prepare formal communications to employees relating to payroll and benefits
- Frequent communication with benefits provider (Canada LIfe)
- Assisting in special projects such as policies and programs
- Ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements
- Other duties as required

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- PCP certification will be considered an asset
- Ability to work well independently and under minimal supervision
- Ability to take initiative and be a good problem solver
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a payroll and benefits role
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
