We are hiring a Payroll and Benefits Administrator who delivers people-first service with care and a great sense of teamwork. Join a high-performing, collaborative team that supports over 1,000 unionized and non-unionized employees across two of BC's most iconic venues.

What You Will Do:



Take ownership of bi-weekly payroll processing for union and non-union employees using Dayforce. Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements accurately. Handle complex payroll activities, including T4s, ROEs, government reporting, garnishments, and retroactive pay. Administer benefit plans, leave programs, and pension enrolments, ensuring seamless onboarding and transitions. Reconcile accounts, audit payrolls, and maintain compliance with all federal and provincial legislation. Partner closely with People & Culture and Finance to manage attendance, vacation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide timely, courteous support to employees on payroll or benefits inquiries.

What You Will Bring:



PCP designation, or in progress and near completion. A certificate or diploma in Business, Finance, or Human Resources. 1-3 years' experience in full-cycle Canadian payroll -- union exposure is a strong asset. Benefits administration experience, including group health, leave programs, and pension plans. Working knowledge of Dayforce and strong Excel skills. A sharp eye for detail, great customer service, superb communication skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure and meet deadlines. Positive attitude and strong team player.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - 62,000.

Offers will be in line with PavCo's internal pay equity and qualified candidate's experience and education. Salary discussion and overall compensation package will be discussed during initial phone interviews.
