Payroll And Accounting Technician
Job Description
Main responsibilities (80%) of payroll:
- Produce the complete payroll cycle every week (Nethris) 150 employees
- Process union dues and remittances (monthly)
-Account for employee RRSP contributions and submit to external supplier
- Manage employee vacation banks
- Ensure year-end process (T4, relev\xc3\xa9s 1, SST salary declaration, 1% training, etc.);
- Responsible for US payroll (ADP) 3 employees
Main accounting responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end process
- Enter invoices into accounting system
- Collection of payments to accounts receivable
- Any other tasks in support of accounting
