This is a rare opportunity to join our world-class payroll operations team in St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, Newfoundland and Labrador.As a Payroll Analyst you will work both independently, with your own areas of responsibility, as well as collaboratively on payroll processing, operations, customer service, and accounting activities. Payroll Analysts are responsible for accurately processing all payrolls, compliance, and control activities, responding to audits, tax and regulatory monitoring and compliance, support of our benefit deduction programs, and all aspects of the customer support of our Nasdaq employees.Payroll Analysts are a part of the Compensation Accounting department where we are all responsible for supporting continuous improvement initiatives and strategic goals that drive our continued shared success. Your schedule will be aligned to reflect what is needed for successful result.You will need the following skills and experience:

• Experience and strong knowledge of US payroll and payroll tax processing best practices and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Education Required: Bachelor\'s degree is required (preferably Accounting, Finance, or HR)
• Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience processing multi-state payrolls for large organizations
• Certifications: Canadian PCP or US CPP preferred

And it would be great if you have experience with:

• ADP Workforce Now systems
• ADP Smart Compliance
• Formatting and producing SOP procedural manuals
