Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Administrator who can process payroll and is proficient with Ceridian applications to fill a role with a company in the Manufacturing field. The Payroll Administrator provides a long-term contract in Aurora, Ontario location.

Your responsibilities

- Collect, calculate, and enter relevant data to maintain payroll records

- Perform review and verification of source documents

- Reconciling of employee deductions and other liabilities

- Handle payroll record updates by keeping changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers

- Resolve payroll discrepancies via information collection and analysis

- Ceridian experience

- Multi-state payroll experience

- General familiarity with Ceridian software

- Canadian Payroll experience required

- Foundational knowledge in Multistate Payroll

- Proficient with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

- Dependability in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills in particular

- Meet and uphold Certified Payroll Professional criteria
