ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY..



Regional Recycling is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 80-100 employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislative and internal requirements.

This is an in-person role based at our Admin Office, with a set schedule every other week on Monday and Tuesday to align with payroll deadlines. Flexibility for Sunday payroll processing is required during statutory holiday weeks.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...



Minimum 1 years of payroll experience; experience with Ceridian Dayforce & ADP Workforce Now is required. Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, statutory deductions, WCB regulations, and benefit administration. PCP certification or current enrollment in National Payroll Institute courses is an asset. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.

What You'll Get to Do



Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, benefits, statutory deductions, and other adjustments. Maintain and audit employee timesheets, and follow up with supervisors to meet processing deadlines. Administer payroll-related remittances including CPP, EI, Income Tax, WCB, and group benefits. Prepare year-end documentation including T4s and reconciliation reports. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Stay current with provincial and federal payroll legislation, including WCB assessable earnings and BC Employment Standards. Maintain data integrity and confidentiality across all payroll records and systems.

Schedule and Working arrangement:



Mandatory in-person work every Monday & Tuesday during payroll weeks. Flexibility to work Sunday & Monday during statutory holiday weeks. On-call availability during off-payroll weeks (remote or in-person as needed). Contract-based position with flexible part-time hours.
