What You'll Do



You'll own the payroll process from start to finish - and be a key player on our HR team. This includes:

Acting as the go-to person for all things payroll Running bi-weekly payrolls (hourly & salaried) with accuracy and care Managing time-off, deductions and benefits data Preparing payroll reports and journal entries for finance Supporting new hires by setting up payroll and time systems Provide back-up support for our Benefits Administrator Help reconcile payroll deductions and respond to payroll-related inquiries

What You Bring



We are looking for someone who's accurate, thoughtful, and people-centered (because payroll isn't just about numbers, it's about people!). Preferred qualifications include:

Payroll certification or equivalent experience (5+ years preferred) Solid Excel skills and experience with enterprise payroll platforms like Dayforce, and other office software applications like Outlook and Microsoft 365 A knack for solving problems and a passion for getting the details right Respect for confidentiality and a service-minded approach to communication

Compensation & Location



This role offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000, based on experience. Our head office is in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and we'd love for you to spend the majority of your time on-site - it's the best way to get to know our people and culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
