Our amazing not-for-profit client, located in the NE of Calgary, is looking for a part time Payroll Administrator to join their passionate team. This person will be responsible for administering payroll and benefits, as well as offering support to the wonderful Human Resources lead.

The ideal candidate will be excited to be a part of this long standing institution and eager to get involved in interdepartmental collaboration, committee participation, and outreach involvement, including marketing and social media support. The sky is the limit in this role with room for growth and additional responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Processing payroll and timesheet collection
  • Entering and administering company benefits program for multiple organizations
  • Entering data and submitting employee profile modifications
  • Providing support to the Human Resources and Accounting teams when required
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle is preferred
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years\' payroll experience
  • Human Resources administration experience is preferred
  • Experience working for a not-for-profit and with multiple companies is considered an asset
  • Payworks knowledge is considered an asset
Skills:
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and personable attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of organization with exceptional attention to detail
  • Supportive personality, always willing to lend a helping hand or take on additional tasks as needed
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to function effectively autonomously, as well as in a team environment
  • Outstanding time management skills, able to meet deadlines with ease
Base Salary: $25 \xe2\x80\x93 30 per hour

Work Hours:
  • 24 \xe2\x80\x93 32 hours per week to start
  • Flexible work schedule
Remote Work:
  • This position is not remote. You are required to be on site.
Additional Notes:
  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
