Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev\'s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Administer payroll runs for multiple entities;
- Manage vacation, personal days, holidays in accordance with company policies and procedures and l labor laws and ensure all balances are paid to employees;
- Generate payroll deductions and payroll tax claims on a monthly and/or periodic basis (Issue T4s and - Relev\xc3\xa9 1s annually for employees + produce Relev\xc3\xa9 1 and T4 summary);
- Monitor compliance of employee records in the payroll system at all stages of the employee life cycle (including onboarding, changes and termination);
- Prepare reports for internal (CEO, CFO, Corporate Accounting Manager, etc.) and external (auditors, government entities, etc.) stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with end of employment milestones, including electronic transmission of employment records;
- Collaborate with a member of the Human Resources team to provide responses to internal employees regarding profile and compensation inquiries;
- Implement processes and procedures to increase the efficiency of the payroll process ;
- Support with the annual total compensation review campaign

Qualifications and Requirements

- College diploma: Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in accounting or equivalent;
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in administration, accounting or a related field;
- Member of the Canadian Payroll Association, an asset;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite;
- Mastery of accounting and knowledge of various accounting software;
- Knowledge of payroll through ADP WorkforceNow, an asset;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Strong bilingual written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility to manage workload demands in a dynamic environment;
- Willingness to grow in role and responsibilities as the company expands nationally.
