As the
Payroll & Administration Coordinator
, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient payroll operations, maintaining important documentation, and contributing to our dynamic people-first culture. This is a dynamic and multi-faceted role--perfect for someone who thrives on keeping things organized, enjoys working with people, and values accuracy and accountability.
Your responsibilities:
Payroll & HRIS Administration- Onboard employees through PayWorks and Paychex, collect and process payroll data, maintain up-to-date payroll records, manage wage changes, and assist with year-end reporting.
Benefits Administration -Oversee benefit enrollments, calculate and track deductions, update employee benefit files, and support periodic benefits audits.
Employee Record and General HR Support -Maintain accurate employee files for both Canada and the U.S., update HR documents such as forms and SOPs, manage onboarding templates through DocuSign, and respond to employee inquiries.
Health & Safety -Ensure all employee Health and Safety related documents are maintained accurately in the HRIS and handle DOT-required employment verifications.

You will bring:
Education or practical experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll (Required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Payworks, Paychex, and DocuSign (Asset)
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
A positive, adaptable attitude and a customer-service mindset
Bonus
: Bilingual in French and English or Spanish and English is considered an asset!
