Citi\'s Treasury and Trade Services Line of Business has embarked upon a journey to implement a best in class, highly resilient, scalable, and frictionless payments solution for ecommerce clients with complete infrastructure based in AWS cloud (Express Payments). We are looking for a dynamic Test Manager who cherishes new challenges, strives to change existing process, and transform testing methodologies for the Express Payments solution. One of the key deliverables for this role is also to ensure complete test automation, with no manual testing involved. Accordingly, it is imperative that a scalable, robust, and state of the art automation framework is built to facilitate an efficient and swift test automation adoption. This role entails ensuring the right automation framework is built with the correct architecture, design and tech stack that should facilitate the quick automation adoption across programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership in building and enhancing the test automation capability for validating a wide array of applications with disparate tech stacks and functionalities.

This, this requires the candidate to play a leadership role to redefine the E2E testing strategy and build a roadmap for processes, tools and skill sets within the quality engineering group for the program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Test Management

• Manage the overall testing deliverables for Express Payments globally, by ensuring correct test planning and estimation, driving test automation, proactively identifying, and highlighting risks to various stakeholders, senior management and suggesting mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery of high-quality output.
• Define the testing strategy which would be completely integrated within the development cycle and drive an iterative E2E testing methodology aligning with the agile adoption strategy.
• Understanding the BOW and plan for delivery, resourcing, and budgeting accordingly.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise by ensuring adequate testing coverage, highlighting issues and gaps with overall coverage.
• Introduce and implement best practices and tools required for testing applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Work closely with the vendor resources to ensure they are cross trained across applications and have a complete understanding of the various interactions within the eco system for a given End to End flow.
• Coach and guide the vendor testing resources for their delivery, productivity, and overall quality.
• Coordinate and build a collaborative working relationship with the dev teams to ensure timely delivery of the program.
• Responsible for budgeting, project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization across multiple streams of testing.

Process Standardization

• Define and implement standardized testing processes and artefacts.
• Build synergy between the development and testing teams ensuring collaborative approach to test automation, discussions and exchange of best practices and ideas.
• Analyzes trends at an organizational level to improve processes; follows and analyzes industry trends.
• Develops and implements methods for cost, effort, and milestones of IT Quality activities. Strives for continuous improvements and streamlining of processes.

Automation

• Drive in sprint testing automation for the programs ensuring zero manual testing.
• Implement a continuous testing and continuous regression model completely integrated within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in designing the right architecture, model, and tech stack for the automation framework.

Qualifications:

• At least 12 years IT Testing experience required.
• Excellent knowledge with wide-ranging experience in implementing various software testing techniques and testing tools.
• In depth knowledge and expertise in Payments and Cash Management domain for corporate clients.
• Good understanding of SWIFT ISO20022 messaging structure and formats.
• Understanding of the payments landscape and working of various clearing schemes.
• Experience in testing on AWS infrastructure.
• Technically adept and thorough understanding of various automation tools like Selenium, LeanFT, etc.
• Requires communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence.
• Thorough understanding of end-to-end testing processes, Quality Center, JIRA, and other testing related tools

Education:

• Bachelor\'s/University degree, Master\'s degree preferred.
