Vet to Pet Animal Clinic

We are looking for a

paw-sitively awesome full time receptionist

to join our team in Emerald Park - a quick

5 minute drive from the east end of Regina!

Our mission as a veterinary team is to provide high-quality compassionate veterinary care in a calm and supportive environment. We aim to reduce stress for both patients and their owners, build trusted relationships, and support the well being of our clients, patients, and our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Greet and check in clients and their patients

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar

- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries

- Assist with filing and organizing of medical records using our cloud based paperless medical record software

- Collect payments for services rendered

- Obtain histories for patient exams

- Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures as required

- Assist with laboratory tasks such as preparing samples for testing and running samples with IDEXX machines

- Assist with cleaning and restocking

- Inventory management

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
