Primary Responsibilities

Lead Hand is responsible for directing and giving instruction to attendants as they perform specific runs, complete reports per assessment or as directed by Operations Manager/Supervisor, ensuring all attendants follow proper procedures as outlined by PTS Policies and Procedures Manual and maintaining proper inventory levels.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Proven experience within Non-Urgent Patient Transfer industry.
  • Current Advanced First Aid & CPR Certification and EFR Certification or equivalent.
  • Excellent, strong proven customer service experience.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Time and Stress Management skills.
  • Experience using computers and entering data on computer (keyboard skills).
  • In-depth knowledge of Southwestern and Central Ontario.
  • Good organization and communications skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Patient Transfer techniques and procedures.
  • Previous Management, Supervisory or training experience an asset.
