Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Service Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of Ocean Orthodontics, ensuring a smooth and positive patient journey. Your responsibilities include:

Greeting every patient with kindness, enthusiasm, and genuine care Managing patient communications (appointments, treatment information, and office policies) Answering calls, emails, and messages, while documenting key details Organizing and booking appointments, collecting insurance information, and updating charts Supporting financial processes (contracts, payments, deposits, reporting) Acting as a liaison between patients, doctors, and other dental professionals Assisting with clinic operations such as scheduling, stock management, and marketing initiatives Ensuring the patient lounge and reception areas remain tidy, welcoming, and fully stocked Collaborating with team members to foster a culture of trust, respect, and cooperation Performing additional administrative tasks as required by the Office Lead or Manager

What You Bring

Experience in a dental or orthodontic office is an asset Strong customer service background Proficiency in computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, Dolphin Patient, or similar software) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills--able to make patients feel comfortable and supported Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities A positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
