Temporary Full-time approximately for five (5) months

NONU 02 $26.87/hr $32.57/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all Admitting/ER/MNB Scheduling/Registration, Bedboard and Census functions
The incumbent will utilize an automated CPI/ADT computer system to process out-patient, day surgery and in-patient admissions
Receive and document patients. Complete financial transactions as required.
Provide communication between patients, physician/nursing and support personnel
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma
Completed Medical Terminology course is required
Knowledge of computers/general office procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to cope effectively with multiple demands and stressful work environment
Accurate typing with a minimum of 60 wpm is essential
PREFERRED:
Medical Office Administration diploma or related
Patient registration experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
