Patient Medical Receptionist

Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Clinic Receptionist & Administrator for our patients who is friendly, cheerful, reliable, detail oriented and efficient to join our team!

Experience in primary health care, family medical clinic setting is an asset! Our ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills as they are the first point of contact for patients, and who is eager to be a part of a team at a recently opened medical clinic in Orillia!

Responsibilities



Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses with patient flow, clinic organization and action queries effectively Professional, timely response in patient, visitor and external contact communications, including answering phone calls, directing callers, faxes and email Provide assistance to patients and visitors on arrival and departure, appointment scheduling, administrative support and billing as required Maintain utmost confidentiality, privacy and adhere to privacy legislation in the maintenance of patient history, records Problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong proficiency in use of office equipment and phone systems Detail oriented in the maintenance of electronic medical records Assist in the preparation and change over of of clinic patient and team spaces General office and clinic environmental cleanliness duties, stocking of supplies and maintenance of equipment

Experience



Experienced in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting Experience with one or more of the following is considered an asset: PS Suites, OceanMD+, Clinical Database Software, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Scheduling, Health and Safety and Purchasing. Diploma in Office Administration or Health Sciences an asset Knowledge and certificate of medical terminology preferred but not a requirement

Requirement



Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, this may include evenings or early mornings
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
