Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for patients as they navigate their care journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience in managing electronic medical records. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing support and assistance throughout their visits.

Duties

Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient operations within the office. Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure all patient information is up to date and compliant with regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and follow-up on treatment plans. Assist patients in understanding their treatment options and provide education on procedures and services. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence related to patient care. Ensure a welcoming environment for patients by maintaining cleanliness and organization within the office space.

Experience

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and scheduling appointments effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to build rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems would be considered an asset for efficient documentation and patient management. Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and a strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new computer programs quickly
