Our dynamic team currently has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and pleasant

Patient Care Coordinator

to work primarily in the Cambridge area. The new team member should have a positive and professional attitude and be capable of working efficiently in a busy environment that focuses on top notch patient care. They should embrace a strong work ethic, effective communications and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:



Professionally and personally greet and communicate with all patients in a courteous and friendly manner.

Answer phone calls, ensuring all inquires are answered or referred to the appropriate person.

Facilitate and schedule appointments.

Receive and send correspondence/emails.

Accurately process patient payments, assist with insurance claims and pre-determinations.

Ensure patient records are accurate and organized.

Communicate professionally with referring dental offices.

Miscellaneous other duties to assist with the proper functioning of the practice.

Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



1-2 years office experience preferred.

Post secondary school graduate.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professionalism and a strong sense of confidentiality.

A strong ability to multi task.

Excellent communication and computer skills.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Professional telephone manner.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Successful time management skills.

Travel within our office locations will be required.

Certification with BLS, HARP, WHMIS and IPAC would be an asset.
