Job Description
Jazz Levis is currently seeking a candidate to fill a part-time night shift patient care attendant position for a long-term temporary replacement. Candidates must hold a valid AP/RPA or DEP diploma in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC (Recognition of Acquired Competencies) certificate, or have accumulated 5,000 hours of PAB (Patient Care Attendant) training within the last 5 years, plus current 16-hour CPR certification and completed PDSP (Patient Care and Support Program).

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 4/14 night shift (midnight to 8:00 a.m.) with one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations Contribute to the development of a residentse action plan based on their observations Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training) Respond to all emergency situations While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training Law 90 training (an asset) AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home PDSP training
