Job Summary

Patient Access Associate Level 1 is a member of the Patient Access team. Using guiding principles Patient Access Associate Level 1 will either admit or register patients across the organization in a timely and efficient manner, keeping in mind the principle of patient focused care.

Primary Responsibilities

Patient Access Associate Level 1 will be first contact for patients and will provide customer services for internal and external customers. The Patient Access Associate Level 1 works with the support of and in collaboration with all care providers.

Qualifications
  • Proven proficiency in STAR & PHS systems
  • Previous hospital or medical experience in a clerical role
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Medical terminology
As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital\'s Occupational Health and Safety department.
