The Role
The Pastry Manager is responsible for
leading the pastry and baking operations
, with a strong focus on
cake production and decorating
, while maintaining systems, standards, and efficiency across the pastry kitchen. This is a
hands-on leadership role
working closely with the Executive Chef.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all
pastry and cake production
, including decorating and finishing
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and execution of all desserts and cakes
Implement and maintain
pastry systems, recipes, and production schedules
Train, coach, and motivate pastry staff
Maintain a
clean, tidy, and well-organized
pastry kitchen
Responsible inventory, ordering, and waste reduction
Ensure compliance with
food safety and health standards
Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings
