Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to food safety guidelines. Package baked goods for display or customer orders, ensuring they are presented attractively. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and offerings.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong skills in cake decorating and food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong customer service skills to engage with patrons when necessary.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
