YOU MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH PASTRY.

We are seeking a full-time Pastry Cook/Baker to join our team. Reporting to the Pastry Chef, the Pastry Cook/Baker will be responsible for making pastry items to our recipes & specifications, a variety of baked goods, including scones, butter tarts and various dessert pies, cookies and pastries. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for baking delicious treats.

Duties:
- Utilize a mixer and dough sheeter in making pastry and baked goods
- Follow recipes accurately
- Ensure all baked items are of high quality and meet food safety standards
- Operate baking equipment effectively and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Previous experience working with pastry in a bakery setting
- Knowledge of food handling, kitchen operations, and food safety practices
- Ability to work independently and receive feedback and instruction
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques in the restaurant or food industry

Skills:

pie pastry laminated pastry (preferred) bread dough scones cookie dough custards, pastry creams, ganaches, frostings/buttercreams, mousses cakes, loaves, muffins, brownies chocolate tempering/decorations (preferred)
