Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute a wide range of baked goods, pastries, and plated desserts with precision and artistry.
Ensure consistency, portion control, and presentation standards across all pastry items.
Oversee mise en place, production schedules, and storage of ingredients in compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu planning and seasonal dessert offerings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry section.
Train and mentor junior pastry staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in
Culinary Arts or Patisserie
from a recognized institution
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in a professional pastry kitchen, preferably in fine dining or luxury hotels.
Strong understanding of
baking science, French pastry techniques, and dessert presentation.
Experience in a
commercial kitchen environment
with knowledge of production processes and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
Team-oriented, professional, and passionate about the pastry craft.
