Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and comply with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative dessert offerings that align with seasonal menus.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair while adhering to customer specifications.
Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff on pastry techniques and best practices in food preparation.
Experience
Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and pastry presentation.
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in a kitchen environment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
