We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, baking, and cake decorating. Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring quality and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area while adhering to food safety guidelines.
Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about dessert options.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling and food safety practices.
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques and pastry presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
