Job Description

We are looking for someone with passion and experience for creating high quality pastries and baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, follow recipes, be creative, solve problems, have a commitment to consistency and pay attention to detail, be a team player that works hard and goes above and beyond the basic requirements that will improve the pastry shop!

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, ensuring quality and consistency. Decorate cakes and desserts to meet customer specifications and enhance presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and fulfilling special orders. Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline food preparation and service processes. Manage inventory and packaging of baked goods for sale.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting Strong customer service skills and ability to handle food safely Expertise in baking with a focus on pastry techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Experience in cake decorating and packaging Previous work in a restaurant environment is preferred

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
