We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Person to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair using various decorating techniques
Package finished products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality
Assist in food production and food preparation tasks within the kitchen environment
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Support catering events or restaurant service as needed, including setup and presentation of pastry displays
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and uphold quality standards
Skills
Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, and pastry arts
Strong skills in food handling, food safety, and kitchen operations
Knowledge of food industry best practices related to culinary preparation and presentation
Ability to operate kitchen tools such as knives safely and efficiently
Experience in food packaging, food production, and catering services preferred
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
Previous restaurant or bakery experience is highly desirable
Creative eye for detail in food presentation and decoration
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
