Duties

Decorate cakes with artistic designs, using various techniques and tools. Prepare and bake cake batters, frostings, and other dessert items according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special cake orders. Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely order fulfillment. Stay updated on industry trends in cake decorating and baking techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and baking techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Previous kitchen experience is an asset, particularly within the food industry.
