YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the school principal, the pastoral care animator provides pastoral services to the school's staff and students. Main responsibilities include:
Supporting students and staff in their spiritual development;
Organizing and leading Liturgies of the Word and Eucharistic celebrations, as well as times of prayer and reflection;
Coordinating faith-engagement projects in response to community needs;
Participating in CECCE's pastoral care team.

Qualifications and Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in theology, religious studies, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent by CECCE;
+ One (1) year of experience in youth pastoral care or equivalent;
+ Theological and religious knowledge embodied in a dynamic faith;
+ Ability to establish positive interpersonal relationships with students and school staff;
+ Strong listening, analytical, and discernment skills.
Languages:
Proficiency in spoken and written French is required and good oral knowledge of English. In accordance with CECCE's mission, preference will be given to candidates who are fully fluent in French and identify with Roman Catholic values.
